Children Starting School September 2026

If your child was born between 1st September 2021 and 31 August 2022,  you can now apply for a Reception school place for September 2026.

The application process opened on 12 September 2025 and closes on 15 January 2026. It’s important to apply on time, as late applications may mean your child doesn’t get a place at your preferred school.

You will find out the result of your application on 16 April 2026 (Primary National Offer Day).
