World Book Day 2026

Fulbridge was full of excitement and joy for this year's World Book Day.
We embraced the spirit of 'all things books' by dressing up as our favourite book characters or in cosy pyjamas, creating our own Fulbridge fairytale, sharing our favourite book from home and solving riddles to uncover a mystery book hidden in the library. We also created our own book covers, participated in a fun class book quiz, and enjoyed a themed lunch menu!

Fulbridge World Book Day Fairytale
The Marshmallow Caste and the Monster Princess
This year's World Book Day brought a special creative experience to our school. Miss Armfield visited every class from Nursery through to Year 6, working with classes to build a Fulbridge story one step at a time.
The result is a wonderfully imaginative tale that reflects the creativity of our entire school. We are grateful to all the classes who contributed their ideas to bring this story to life.
We hope you all enjoy discovering what happens in 'The Marshmallow Castle and the Monster Princess' story.
Thank you to our parents and carers for their support of this event, as well as to all the staff who contributed to making this day a huge success!
What a fantastic day!
