School Council 2018/19

Meet this year School Council representatives

We have a representative from each class from Reception to Year 6.

School Council Sessions

Our Councillors meet up once a week after school to get involved in the following:

-School improvement

-Discuss events that they that can help and support

-Prepare for events

-Create awareness/help videos

-Build confidence and character

What have they been up to this year:

Supporting learning with Reception and Year 1

Macmillan Cake Sale

- Created posters to advertise the event

- Helped with stalls

- Total money raised: £1000.05

Mental Health Video

This was created to support mental health week.

Children In Need

Fulbridge Cinema Night

Road Safety Video

The children worked with PC Chris Freeman from Thorpe Wood Police Station to create a video to show awareness of keeping safe on the roads around our school.

Walkers' Crisp Packet Scheme

The School Council supported this campaign to recycle crisp packet that were recycled into different objects. The crisp packets are cleaned and shredded to turn them into plastic pellets. These pellets are then transformed into park benches, plant pots, watering cans and cool bags.
