The internet is amazing. Young people can play, learn, create and connect - opening up a whole world of exciting possibilities. But with the digital world changing all the time, do you understand your child’s cyber culture, the way in which he/she uses the internet and mobile devices and do you know how can you make sure your child’s staying safe whilst online?
To try and help all parents/carers with keeping up to date with the latest websites, apps and crazes, The Fulbridge Academy is committed to sharing e-safety information with you through our website and Facebook pages.
We know that young people learn through experience but as parents, carers and professionals working with your children we also know that we need to help protect them from harm. The links above can be used to help parents/carers set up parental controls on your children's phones, laptops, tablets and computers.
There are also some very good links below which explains the different risks young people face when online and some top tips to recognise if your child is experiencing any form of cyber bullying or participating in risk taking behaviour.
It is important to talk to your children about their experiences online and whether they know who to report any worries or concerns to about things they see online. As parents you can also report any worries or concerns online or alternatively by speaking to your child’s class teacher.
