Peterborough Film Awards 2018

The Peterborough Film Awards was held at Kingsgate Conference Centre on Wednesday 20th June 2018. This event is a film festival to showcase the talent and skills of children in Peterborough.

As this year marks the 900th anniversary of Peterborough, this year's theme was:

The celebration of Peterborough Cathedral's 900th anniversary

Fulbridge entered 4 films and were very proud of the videos they created. Once our entries were ready, Miss Dobslaw safely delivered them to the Town Hall, they were then sent away to be judged. A few weeks later, we were invited to the awards ceremony to showcase our videos and to collect any awards that we may have won.

Fulbridge had a very successful night and managed to win 3 categories and also 6 runners up trophies which is absolutely amazing.

That's 9 awards in total!

The children and adults loved going up on stage to collect their awards.

I think we need a bigger trophy cabinet now though!

We also received recognition from Gillian Beasley, Chief Executive of Peterborough City Council, for being the noisiest school that evening which is an achievement in itself!

You were all absolute superstars!

Well done and congratulations to all the children and adults involved.

Also, thank you to all the families and friends who came and joined us for such an amazing evening.

We are already excited for next year!

Photos of this event will be shared in the Peterborough Evening Telegraph and also Serpentine Green Shopping Centre.
